We are excited to have Civia Cycles all the way out from Minnesota as a Pedal Savvy show sponsor.  Make sure to stop by their booth and the fashion show to check out their beautiful city bikes!

A bicycle gives each if us the chance to become superhuman. These two wheels give us the power to fly past skyscrapers and levitate through the chaos of the world. They give us the freedom to telelport across space and distance. They can magically make us more beautiful and attractive. They can allow us to be invisible or to stand tall and be the center of attention.
They make us supernatural, extraordinary, exceptional and remarkable.
However, it isn’t all about the bicycle. It is all about you, the Superhuman.

“A Flirty Practical Skirt”- fashionable and sporty for bikers. This active skirt works great for bicycle rides where you will be running errands, meeting for lunch, or just want to add a flirty accessory to your biking attire. For the long rides, where aerodynamics becomes a concern, you can roll the skirt up and place it neatly in the jersey pocket.

No more tying your sweatshirt around your waist to cover your lycra/spandex bound sweet spot! Sweet Spot™ Skirts are long enough to cover, yet short enough to stay out of the way.

Changing the world ONE skirt at a time!

San Francisco, bicycles, high fashion, I’m in love.  One can be active and stylish, style should never hold you back from being active, being active should never hold you back from being stylish!

Well it’s finally here the day we have all been waiting for!  Go time!  The stage is looking sweet and I am ready to get this party started.  Come by and check it out first show is at 12:30 second at 6:00.  Don’t miss out.  And don’t let me be this tired for no reason.  I am so ready for bike extravaganza!

Well this past Saturday we had high hopes for a group ride in which we would gallivant around San Fran spreading the magical word of the SF Bike Expo and the Pedal Savvy with a keg of beer in toe.  The weather had another idea for how the day would go and tried to halt our efforts with pouring rain.  We would not be stopped however!  We carried on with our mission.  This was our meeting spot where we decided to stay and wait out the weather a bit.  Sarah from Pushbike loaded the keg on to her super sweet Bullit cargo bike.

We then rode to the BYOQ (Bring Your Own Queer) festival in the Golden Gate Music Concourse to meet up with my Derby Girl ladies and join the others trying to make things happen despite the rainy weather.  We were received very well at the festival- I think partly due to the keg of beer we brought:)  We met lots of new people and sold tons of raffle tickets.  A little rain ain’t gonna stop us no way!  It was really fun and I can’t wait to plan it again next year.

Swrve clothing is a new sponsor of Pedal Savvy and we couldn’t be more thrilled.  We love their company, their clothing, and their amazing founders!  Be on the lookout for our models wearing their Swrve clothing both on and off the runway.  We will be featuring product reviews on their clothing here on Pedal Savvy.
